“I wear a CPAP to sleep,” said one of two inventors from Plano, Texas. “When I wake up, there are deep, disfiguring creases on my face from the straps. I needed a comfortable, easy way to keep this from happening, which is why we invented this accessory.”

They developed the SMOOTHING SLUMBER to make wearing a CPAP mask more comfortable. The accessory enables the user to enjoy a better night’s sleep. The unit keeps the mask from irritating skin. It also prevents straps from causing indentations on the face. Additionally, the invention provides peace of mind, and it is designed to be easily washable.

The original design was submitted to the Dallas office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
