Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) May 22, 2013

Pro Player Health Alliance (PPHA) officially held another event, this one being in the La Jolla/San Diego and surrounding communities. This event included NFL greats Mike Haynes, Roy Green, Jesse Sapolu and Mark Walczak who came out to support PPHA and help spread awareness of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). David Gergen, President of PPHA and Gergen’s Orthodontic Lab, called the event a “success” with over thirty people giving information for appointments within ten minutes after the meeting had finished.

In addition to leading the way for doctors in sleep treatment across the country by speaking at “Tackling Sleep Apnea” events, Dr. Eli will be turning his head to speak in Scottsdale, AZ at the American Sleep And Breathing Academy’s Inaugural Meeting on Friday. One of his key speaking points will be on the benefits of having multiple treatments available at one location as opposed to having one or the other; oral appliance and CPAP. Dr. Eli is most known for his ability to find a nonsurgical treatment, even if it means trying everything there is on the market.

“Spreading awareness at these events and screenings and through radio and television has been wonderful. I believe by spreading awareness we can save lives” said David Gergen. This event and the events that will follow are co-sponsored by Gergen’s Orthodontic Lab who will provide free oral appliances to qualified attendees. The goal of the event and national campaign titled “Tackling Sleep Apnea” is to generate as much awareness about sleep apnea and encourage attendees to get tested and diagnosed.

Dr. Bradley Eli’s event with Pro Player Health Alliance was one of the best yet. David Gergen said, “Brad and his staff are a blast to work with. They have been professional, hard working and very friendly throughout this whole time.” Dr. Eli has treated more Hall Of Fame NFL players for sleep apnea than any other doctor who has hosted a PPHA event.
