Nierman Practice Management (NPM) is returning to Nashville this year on July 25-26th, at the Nashville Airport Marriott, with their 2-day seminar series, “Successful Implementation of Dental Sleep Medicine”. NPM’s continuing education seminar provides dentists with the latest clinical research, as well as practical implementation guidelines. Dedicated breakout sessions, led by Rose Nierman help dental administrators navigate the documentation and codes needed for successful medical billing. “We’re excited about taking our dental sleep medicine course back to Nashville,” says Rose Nierman, CEO of Nierman Practice Management. “Appliances for OAT are predominately approved as “medically necessary” by insurers and we are delighted to assist more patients in gaining access to care by teaching dentists how to implement sleep apnea appliance protocols and maximize their patients’ medical insurance benefits.”

The Nierman team and educational faculty of industry leaders share an incredible passion for providing the education, tools and support throughout all stages of implementation. The main speaker for the Nashville seminar will be Mark Paschen, DDS, a practicing dentist from Baraboo, Wisconsin. Dr. Paschen limits his practice to temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, dental sleep medicine and orthodontics. It’s obvious that Dr. Paschen does have a passion for treating sleep breathing disorders. He recently stated, “The ability to change someone’s life through oral appliance therapy for OSA is one of my greatest rewards.” Dr. Paschen’s webinar on Obstructive Sleep Apnea, The Dentists Role, can be previewed here.

Ms. Nierman states that attendees learn better with interactive sessions and real-world examples. The seminar includes a hands-on session for taking bite registrations, real case study examples, and even the chance to take a home sleep-study during the night and analyze the results the next day.

The value dentists receive from an educational seminar should go far beyond a weekend course. It’s important that attendees gain access to an ongoing support network of dedicated industry experts. NPM has teamed up with some of the leading companies in the industry. Attendees will be able to try a variety of home sleep studies and view a wide range of oral appliances for the treatment of OSA while at the seminar.

Successful Implementation of Dental Sleep Medicine seminars are accredited with the AGD PACE and ADA CERP programs and offers 16 CE credits. If you are unable to attend the seminar in Nashville, click here to view the complete list of NPM seminar for 2014.
